Lil' Romeo, the best and the youngest,
By DonRamon (NBG / Germany) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lil' Romeo (Audio CD)
With his first Album Lil' Romeo sho's that he can rap, and his rap is tight! The 18-Track album is produced by Myke Diesel and former Beats By The Pound member Carlos Stephens. "Make You Dance" has replayed Elements from Shaggy's "Angel" and the "That's The Way (I Like It)". It's featuring the No Limit East Group Afficial and Lil' Zane, the man who did "Callin' Me" with 112. "My First (remix)" is also an very tight track with vocals by 6 Piece. And the song "When I Get Grown" is a great one, too. A typical No Limit song is "Where They At" with his dad Master P. "Little Star" has a slow beat but it's with vocals by Allusion, the same that gave the vocals to "Make You Dance". A very slow song is the last one: "Take My Pain Away". It hast vocals by Suga Bear and is featuring with Lil' Zane again. "The Girlies" is a fast one, it's a party track. Everybody knows "That's Cool", but here is a Remix with Silkk The Shocker and Lil' Romeo's Cousin Little D. "Somebody's In Love" is a godd song, too. It has an asian melodie. It's a very tight Album and it's much better than Lil' Bow Wow! Lil' Romeo is the future!

if you like romeo's single, My Baby, you'll love this cd, the first song, Little Star, is like a rap version of twinkle twinkle little star, the second song's my baby, you know that one...there's 18 songs in all...and they're all great rap songs, a lot of them feature master P, and other rappers like Silkk The Shocker and Little D., he's so cute, i love him, bow wow thought HE was the cute 11 year old rapper, well he's in for a wake up call

WARNING: Not to be taken seriously.,

For a real laugh, check out any five-star review for this... erm, "album".Back in the late 1980's, rap groups like NWA and Public Enemy stood for something. They spoke out against police brutality and the deteriorating quality of their city. They had something to say, and people listened. But, unfortunately, sometime in the early 1990's, rap became a complete joke. And now, we have some little third grader whining about multiplication tables and how he tried to kiss the little girl he had a crush on and got sent to time out. This, people, is the apocalypse in the form of music. (And I use the word "music" loosely.) Thankfully, REAL music still thrives on, and provides a great sense of relief for people who are sick of this tripe. If you agree with me on this one, click "Helpful". If you don't, and actually LIKE hearing this kid cry about how some girl he knows has "cooties", click "Not Helpful".
