For a real laugh, check out any five-star review for this... erm, "album".

With his first Album Lil' Romeo sho's that he can rap, and his rap is tight! The 18-Track album is produced by Myke Diesel and former Beats By The Pound member Carlos Stephens. "Make You Dance" has replayed Elements from Shaggy's "Angel" and the "That's The Way (I Like It)". It's featuring the No Limit East Group Afficial and Lil' Zane, the man who did "Callin' Me" with 112. "My First (remix)" is also an very tight track with vocals by 6 Piece. And the song "When I Get Grown" is a great one, too. A typical No Limit song is "Where They At" with his dad Master P. "Little Star" has a slow beat but it's with vocals by Allusion, the same that gave the vocals to "Make You Dance". A very slow song is the last one: "Take My Pain Away". It hast vocals by Suga Bear and is featuring with Lil' Zane again. "The Girlies" is a fast one, it's a party track. Everybody knows "That's Cool", but here is a Remix with Silkk The Shocker and Lil' Romeo's Cousin Little D. "Somebody's In Love" is a godd song, too. It has an asian melodie. It's a very tight Album and it's much better than Lil' Bow Wow! Lil' Romeo is the future!

Back in the late 1980's, rap groups like NWA and Public Enemy stood for something. They spoke out against police brutality and the deteriorating quality of their city. They had something to say, and people listened. But, unfortunately, sometime in the early 1990's, rap became a complete joke. And now, we have some little third grader whining about multiplication tables and how he tried to kiss the little girl he had a crush on and got sent to time out. This, people, is the apocalypse in the form of music. (And I use the word "music" loosely.) Thankfully, REAL music still thrives on, and provides a great sense of relief for people who are sick of this tripe.

If you agree with me on this one, click "Helpful". If you don't, and actually LIKE hearing this kid cry about how some girl he knows has "cooties", click "Not Helpful".

5.0 out of 5 stars Romeos Sucess!, July 3, 2001
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Lil' Romeo (Audio CD)
The Talented Romeo Miller, a.k.a. Lil Romeo is a new comer to the music business! This Jr.Master P. (P's son), is here to stay and his album proves it all. It has a remarkable beat and you can never hear it too much! I enjoy this CD a lot, Because of Romeo's rhyming which is fabulous and the beat to the songs. Not only is it enjoyable for kids but adults can enjoy it too, For e.g., My baby his hit single has Michael Jackson's Background song, that for instance is Children's and Adults music. This album is already a hit and from reading about Romeo he preys his album will go platinum which I feel proud helping! I also enjoy The album because its clean, no cursing he is not trying to be older then he is and he sets a good example that's important. This album was worth every penny that I earned and bought with my own money. I hope Romeo's success continues! The album is Fabulous

5.0 out of 5 stars Romeos Wonderful Album, July 4, 2001

Romeo Miller also known as Lil Romeo, And Lil p. (Master P. s son) Has an extraordinary album out its wonderful ! It was worth every penny mainly because its curse free, awesome Rhyming, And Other fans and myself can easy relate to some of his conflicts. It Has lot of songs all enjoyable! I myself relate to his music easily he mentions for instance he had a very close friend die, his girlfriend moved, and he is now in the music business and gives up normal kid opportunities. Romeo is a excellent example to kids he gets good grades and does not let his fame go to his head he loves his fan. He writes his own music with his dads help. It has a verity of songs and beats for instance he has Michael Jackson's track my baby to take my pain away a slow and sad song on his album. Romeo is brand new to music business and he is already out with an album and its Better then some of the rappers with lots of experience my opinion. His songs can be inspiring, sad, music to dance to its different depending on your mood it all depends. It the perfect CD especially for an 11 yr. old. Romeo is here to stay and I wish him good luck in the future!

1.0 out of 5 stars DISCOVER GOOD MUSIC, THIS AINT IT., July 21, 2002

well i see Master P has instilled the same ... mentality that he has into his son...combine that with no skill whatsoever and you got a rap catastrophe. This album is embarassing to hip hop music...Its full of Dr. Suess rhymes. The only people listening to this album and albums like it is little girls without a clue... Im not at all against young cats getting into the industry, but damn...do it right, get some skill, get a rep, dont be in it for the money, be in it for the love. but if you wanna [follow]your dad and get into the game like that...buy this kids albums and study it. bottom line this kid needs to pack his bags up, ya done! spineless fool. Bottom line is if you like wack cliches, cat in the hat rhymes, and kids who dont have sense of what the real world is, pick this album up.

3.0 out of 5 stars It Could've Been Better, July 25, 2002
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Lil' Romeo (Audio CD)
Lil Romeo did a preatty bad job on this cd. i thought the tracks would've been better than the MY BABY song. But i am looking forward to his next cd, because i love the way he kinda changed 2 way to put it in a more modern version. i think Romeo's first cd was just something he mixed together for the fun of it. i really am looking forward to his next cd, Game Time because i believe he will have changed the way he sings, and matured a little bit. In that case the beats will be faster, and i might be able to relate more. As for his first cd he should've tried harder.
