Kelis has always struck me as being quite an extreme artist so this song "Lil Star" took me quite by surprise, with Cee Lo's distinctive vocals in the background and Kelis' gorgeous sultry voice doing the main lyrics, you have a wonderful combination that is both catchy and unique.
The music video is great too, Kelis looks the bomb in her padded space-suit like coat, as she looks up the heavens and belts out , "I'm just a lil star" whilst looking at the constellations with the delicious Cee Lo up there in stars, singing back to her. A surprise hit that I will be driving my neighbors nuts with by playing it over and over again! |
