Call me Nostalgic, September 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: From Lilith to Lilith Fair : The Authorized Story (Paperback)
Lilith Fair is over over over and I for one am really going to miss it. This book is a pretty good placebo for those of us who wish the fair was continuing for at least two more years. It's well written, nice to look at, and interesting. Now excuse me while I go put on my Lilith Cds, grab my Lilith book, slap on a Biore nose strip for effect and sob into my Starbucks. Thanks Sarah for three great years!

From Lilith to Lilith Fair: An incredibly, inspiring book, December 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: From Lilith to Lilith Fair : The Authorized Story (Paperback)
How anyone could rate this book anything below five stars is beyond me. I believe this book to be inspiring to women of all ages. I am unbelievably upset that Lilith Fair won't be returning next summer. I went to the final Lilith Fair, it being my very first concert. The feeling you get standing there and listening to Sarah sing is indescribable. You don't want the concert to end at all, let alone Lilith Fair entirely. This is a great book for any Sarah fans, or women who believe in being acknowledged, and heard.

Really enjoyed it!, July 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: From Lilith to Lilith Fair : The Authorized Story (Paperback)
I thought this was a pretty good book. Not only did I enjoy reading it, but I've loaned it out to several friends who also liked it. My favorite parts were the biographies of the illustrious women of the past. If you like Lilith Fair, you should like this book, as well.

Don't be jealous, Judy, June 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: From Lilith to Lilith Fair : The Authorized Story (Paperback)
It's sad when aging no account poets who can't write real books have to come to a marketplace and malign their competition's book just to get their kicks. I found this book to be compelling, and well written. Rather than waste your time listening to people who don't have a clue, give the book a whirl for yourself and see how superior it is to other Lilith-wannabe tomes.

a pennie for your dots, May 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: From Lilith to Lilith Fair : The Authorized Story (Paperback)
Though this book was in no way well-written, or enjoyable to read, I did gain one thing from this journey into mediocrity: a name for my new cat! ray+ellen=rayella! [see the November '96 issue of Chatelaine mag. for more on Sarah's *close* friend Buffy, she's been around since Sarah's high school days]. take this, love, take it down.

wishing there was a little more on Sarah..., April 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: From Lilith to Lilith Fair : The Authorized Story (Paperback)
I like the book and all and there was some really good pictures of Sarah and other performers at lilith fair, but I was sort of hoping there would be a little bit more on Sarah. I liked the forward she wrote, but i wish there was more on people that were a little more popular and like i said before, MORE ON SARAH. but other than that a godd book.

This book is pretty good. The forward from McLachlan give's interesting information also. I was glad to learn about the history of the Lilith Fair and the short biographys on the influential women in history were insightful.
