If you love fashion photography or beautiful images in general, do not hesitate to buy this book. Incredible images in a beautifully put together book. There is something so otherworldly about Bassman's photos - it's as though your looking at a dream sequence. I found it easy to get lost in her work.
All images are in black in white - and take up the entire page. Truly stunning. I'm thinking about buying a second copy so I can frame some of the images.

I first saw Lillian's photo in B&W Photo magazine about 5 years ago, and memorized name. It heavily influenced my portraiture work and processing for about year, then i drifted away to find my own style, but as someone who coming from exactly same background as she is - art school and then photography - I never ever ever would cease to gasp in awe at her portraits and appreciate beauty of them. Its just fantastic. If you ever shooting portraiture and studying real masters - this is a MUST.

I was lucky enough to see her show in L.A. recently and she is fantastic. This is a gorgeous book with very special photographs. She is being touted as the next Horst or Avedon, and I can believe it.

This book is page after page of the most beautiful photographs, and it's very thick, so you get a lot of bang for your buck!
