5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic and a must have if new to feng shui, March 26, 2008
This review is from: Lillian Too's 168 Feng Shui Ways to Declutter Your Home (Paperback)
I have happily owned this book for over three years, and still refer to it probably at least every month, I keep it nearby always. Perfect book for those new to Feng Shui - it is an easy read and gives accurate details on how to apply the feng shui concepts and how to help yourself declutter your home, wonderfully illustrated.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who might need a reason to understand how important it is to keep your home clutter-free. Also good to note, I have followed several of the rituals cited in Too's book, and received almost instant results - if not immediate in all cases...definitely try it! I am so serious about this review, that recently I also purchased several of her other books which I can't wait to get my hands on to read. Enjoy, you will not be disappointed, but be very happy that you bought this book!

I first read this book at a library a few years ago and it was one I just had to buy for myself. It's an easy to follow guide about how Feng Shui can help declutter your home, your mind and make your life simpler and less chaotic. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants to begin learning more about Feng Shui how it can improve your living environment and your life.

168 Ways to Declutter Your Home, October 18, 2008
By Yvonne Phillips FSII (Pittsburgh, PA) - See all my reviews

I have trained with Lillian several years ago and I find this book very informative. Lillian has some very practical advice for everyone to implement. Decluttering is the basis of Feng Shui and cannot be disregarded. I really like the part where she talks about symbols and activating the energy with them. I have never read that before and I believe it is a powerful cure to expand your consciousness. She amazes me with the information that comes forward with each of her new books. If you are a follower of Lillian Too, you need to purchase this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lillian Too's 168 Feng Shui Ways to Declutter Your Home, January 6, 2010

This review is from: Lillian Too's 168 Feng Shui Ways to Declutter Your Home (Paperback)
First, so you know, I am biased and devoted fan of Lillian Too's Feng Shui books. I find her approach to Feng Shui combining her Asian ancestry with her Westernism (Harvard University MBA), makes her supremely adept at expressing and teaching Feng Shui to a Western audience. She distills ancient Feng Shui teachings and synthesizes them into an easy-to-understand manner for Westerners like myself.

In keeping with her "168 Feng Shui Ways to..." series of books, Lillian Too's 168 Feng Shui Ways to Energize Your Life, Lillian Too's 168 Feng Shui Ways to a Calm and Happy Life, Lillian Too's Easy-To-Use Feng Shui For Love: 168 Ways To Happiness--Enhance Your Relationships Energize Your Friendships, Maximize Your Love Potential, Lillian Too's Easy-to-Use Feng Shui: 168 Ways to Success, this volume is crisply presented with plenty of full-color photographs to illustrate, teach, and demonstrate a number of her lessons. The pages have plenty of glossy white space presented in a visual manner that I find makes it easy to read, grasp, and implement her points. It is easy to find things in this book.

In the absence of the Amazon feature, "Look Inside", to assist you with you decision to purchase this book, here is a brief blurb on the 8 chapters of the book, without all the details of them, of course, out of respect for and deference to Ms. Too's intellectual property.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, June 9, 2010
This review is from: Lillian Too's 168 Feng Shui Ways to Declutter Your Home (Paperback)
This is a great book for beginners in Feng Shui. I did get some great results from this book, Highly recommend. If you want to learn about Feng Shui you need to know there are different types of Feng shui, there is the black hat Feng Shui that is based on the Bagua, you place this Bagua with the career area at your main entrance, I have tried that type of Feng Shui and it did not give my any result. Another type of feng shui is based on compass directions, this type of Feng Shui is the one Lillian Too talks about and is one of the ones I truly believe in. There is also the flying star Feng Shui, this type and the compass type is essential to learn if you are serious in learning authentic feng shui and getting results.
