Too Much Fun!!!,
By
This review is from: Lilo & Stitch (Video Game)
Many games based on films are a disapointment but this one isn't! The graphics are fantastic and the action is non-stop! Each level unlocks another movie clip which is rendered here beautifully. Passwords are available to allow you to come back to where you left off. Be sure to do some research for the secret codes (I got a few that were mentioned in my Disney Club newsletter) so you can maximize your playing enjoyment!! Be sure to also collect the pictures you find along the way as they will unlock an added bonus clip at the end of the game... I bought my game at a retail place I won't mention Saturday after seeing the movie.. The price on Amazon is a good one if you can wait (which I couldn't) will save you looking around for the best deal. I bought my Game Boy Advance specifically because I knew this game wasn't compatable to my Gameboy Color.. I have other games for my Gameboy Advance (Glacier).. but this game alone makes it totally worth my upgrading. If you play Gameboy Advance, get yourself this game! It's totally worth it and endless fun!!

Very very cool,

This game would probably not be so much fun if I hadn't seen and loved the movie as much as I did! Graphically, the looks and animations of the characters and settings are modeled beautifully after those of the film, and the game is a joy just to look at, let alone play! Stitch himself is fairly weak compared to his amazing strengths in the movie, and he can only withstand four hits from his enemies (which are easy to sustain given some of the heavy-fire situations coupled with Stitch's somewhat slow movements), but generous spreads of weapons and health powerups help to balance that out. Lilo's stages (the ones where she's required to sneak around an alien starship in an attempt to escape) are actually the most compelling; while Stitch's are fairly straightforward shoot-em-ups, Lilo's are more puzzle-oriented and fun to solve. Once you've gotten a feel for the game's nuances, it's actually a lot of fun and not too terribly difficult until you encounter the main boss, Dr. Pestus himself... *he* is a royal pain in the ..., but has predictable patterns that can be discerned after a while. My favorite thing about this game is that it's a wonderfully accurate homage to the movie it's based on, and if you loved "Lilo & Stitch," then you're more than ceratain to glean quite a bit of entertainment value out of playing through this game and unlocking the adorable movie stills and clips as rewards for your progress.

Pretty Nice Game,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Lilo & Stitch (Video Game)
Okay, when I started playing Lilo and Stitch and saw that you had to kill the aliens with your gun, I thought: 'Peh. Another leap-and-dodge-em game.' But eventually I got interested in it and nearly passed the first level. (Geez, I haven't even passed level 1 yet!) I had to go online to get passwords for some of the other levels cuz I was getting sick of playing level 1 over...and over...and over...Unfortunately, the game's storyline is nothing like the movie unlike the PC game. In GBA Lilo and Stitch you have to stop Dr. Pestus and these mousquito guys. Gameplay is slightly difficult. Reccommended for ages 9+.

Come ON people, anyone giving this game a bad review is insane, that or they are just assuming a game boy game is going to be as good as a PS2 game or an X-Box game. For Game Boy this game was great, and if you look up the codes and get far in the game, its twice as fun!

Extremely cool shooter,

First off, let me begin by saying that "Lilo and Stitch" was not strictly a childrens movie. In fact, some of the family issues in the movie were quite heavy. So its nice to finally see a Disney game that isn't geared towards small children and caters to the adult fanbase. The Gameboy Advance game is reminiscent of Metal Slug. Its a heavy duty shooter that will really keep you on your toes. Theres alot going on in this game and make no mistake, this game is TOUGH! But the challenge it presents is a good thing. This is a game where the graphics, animation and gameplay are so well thought out your money will be well spent. Lots and lots of shooting action here. Definitely one of the better Gameboy Advance games and well worth a look.

This game can be alot of fun. There are passwords so if you get tired of the level and you want to stop you don't have to worry about finishing it because you can just write down the password for that level and beat it another day. This game is is also really challanging their alot of bad guys to kill just in the first level but its alot of fun. Also you get to see Hot movie clips from the movie. Hope this review helps!

I've played it a few times and it's pretty fun. My only complaint, well... my kids' complaints are that certain parts of the game are kinda hard for them to get past. But other than that, they love it. Can't wait for Lilo & Stitch to come out on DVD!
