Kids help Lilo and Stitch evade the alien bounty hunters in this action adventure based on the Disney animated film. Playing as either character, children navigate their way through lush, 3D graphics, avoiding obstacles and enemies and picking up necessary items. There are three different worlds to explore with specific tasks to accomplish and creatures to deal with. Giant spiders, wild boars and hungry snapping plants are only some of the critters that must be dealt with. The game is easy to get started with but tough to master. It is somewhat forgiving for the younger set as you are given many chances to complete each section. Our testers liked the game but weren't wild for it-- if possible, borrow instead of buy.

Although the age category begins at 6 for this game, my 7 year old (and I must confess, I too) find this game montonous and frustrating. The reason is the inability to quick save during the game...You can only save a game after you successfully complete each level.
If you are in the middle or even near the end of a level, and you run the misfortune of using up your last life, you are brought back to the beginning of that level...
TOO MUCH JUMPING OVER WATER!!! My son loved the movie, but has given up on this game...Disney needs to go back to the drawing board on this one...

This game plays like a video game, so the inability to save in between "checkpoints" is expected. Virtually all platform games are made this way. As long as you know that this is a video game for the computer, you shouldn't be disappointed. In fact, the game is really a lot of fun. The age range on the box is 8 years and up, and I believe it. I wouldn't get this game for children any younger than that because it IS quite challenging. But, for kids 9+ who also enjoyed the movie, this game is exciting.

This is a great game. I bought it on my last trip to Disneyland. It's a platform game, such as Crash Bandicoot but you can clearly see the advancements. And you get to play with Stitch and Lilo, each with their own abilities. Once you get used to one character, you get switched, now there's a challenge.

The core of the game is as known, but you also ride vehicles and collect stuff for further use. It's not only a walk and attack game, it truly takes advantage of the 3D platform. Lilo and Stitch Trouble in Paradise is a great adaptation for PC games.
