I love this stuff. The quality is excellent - it is all natural, even consistency, potent, and fresh. I use it for many things -- in healthy drinks; after sun care; homeade hair conditioners, and homeade face spritz's. The price is great for this big bottle. I keep it refrigerated. I will always keep this one hand.

Great product and at a great price.

I drink aloe vera juice when taking my scripts and supplements. It is supposed to help with bioavailability. The gel though is great for the skin. I mix with sweet almond oil to use topically. But use the gel straight for a burn and that seems to help the burn. Anyway I can recommend the brand Lily of the Desert.

I always thought aloe vera gel would be thick, but this was rather on the thin side. Aside from that, it seems to work fine for what I utilize it for. The bottles are big and will last a long time.

Please frigerate if you want the full affect. I use it for my hair, and it allowed stretching my relaxer at least a month 1.5.

This is not GEL it is liquid! And although it says that you can apply this topically...you can NOT! The information here and on the Vitamin Shoppe website is wrong. The manufacturers does not say that you can apply this topically. When I tried to return this because of there mistake that caused me to order the wrong thing! The would NOT pay for the return shipment and it was there fault! Very poor customer service and they are not aware of their products or anything about natural/organic/holistic care. The customer service people just read what they have posted on their misinformed website. I will NOT ever order from them again until the get the customer service in proper form and I advise you all not to order from these people as well.

I should have gotten the organic kind. A total waste of money. It did nothing for my hair. It won't even slick my edges.

I ordered this product with the understanding that it came in a glass
bottle. What I received is a plastic bottle. Hard to imagine
why a company promoting good health with Aloe Vera would package this in
plastic exposing us to toxins, and adding one more bottle that will
never break down, leaving a permanent scar of the planet.
I urge anyone reading this review to Never buy this product
and to contact the manufacture as I have and let them know
if they are distributing in plastic we will not buy it.
