About the Author
Several of Brian's friends have refered to him as having an 'old soul'. Which may well be the case because he is in the final stages of writing Soul Space and Feelings, a book about the limitations of mind and the nature of soul responsiveness in intuition and love. His background is unusual and experientially varied to say the least. He was born into poverty in the North of England in a time of recession. His alcoholic father left for Canada when he was barely fourteen. He supported his infirmed mother from this age by evening work. At the age of seventeen he joined the army simply to have food and extend his education. He found himeself in Germany at the hight of the cold war and in a jungle war in Borneo. Escaping from the military life he worked on Air Safari in Africa and pilot training in Iran before the religious goverment took over. Escaping this enviroment he bacame a member of the flight test team of Concord the supersonic airliner. However his first love has always been about struggling to understand the real nature of the human condition and how people respond in reality. Reality and not truth or beliefs. This led him into education both as a student and teacher. Solitude also became a need and he alone built himself a large catamaran and sailed the North Atlantic. Events led him to a small mountainside village in Bulgaria where he renovated a large house and started writing.
