I am always on the lookout for any product that can make my brown eyes look interesting and I finally found it. I just add a little bit of water onto my brush and dip it in the jar and spread this eyeshadow on my whole lid and it makes my brown eyes look lighter, almost a golden brown. Who would have thought that using a shadow in a shade of brown could make my eyes look this fabulous. This definitely is a bit pricey and the jar is tiny but the results are worth it.

I was very tempted to buy Lime Crime's Dragon Scale eyeshadow, but I was in my local CVS and found a similar product for cheaper, and I believe you get more product.

It's the same brownish, green metallic color and the packaging says there's 1.5g of product.
Just thought I'd throw that helpful hint out there.

I'm really pale and LimeCrime's bright colors make me look clownish, but this one is more subtle and I absolutely LOVE it. You don't get a whole lot of product, but it's highly pigmented so unless you use gobs if it it'll last quite a while. Also, the picture makes it look a little more purple-reddish than it is, it's more of a terra-cotta but I think it looks way better than the photo. It's very shimmery, compliments any eye color and is good for both day and evening. I will order this product again. ^_^

I managed to find this product by accident while looking for MAC pigments. I decided to try this particular color to make my blue eyes stand out and was pleasantly surprised. The cost is a bit off for the amount you get, but for a trial item, I am not concerned. The color payoff is awesome!

I found this while searching for pigments. It is a value compared to others. With pigments a little goes a long, long, long way, so a small container is a good option. The price was reasonable. I am looking forward to purchasing other colors.

I, like another reviewer, came across this eyeshadow while searching for a MAC pigment. I saw the other reviews and decided to give Dragon Scales a try. I'm so glad I did. It's an amazing product. It's pretty small (a little smaller than the Bare Minerals eyeshadows). But a little goes a long way, so, despite its small size, it should last a while. I don't know how they got the eye in the picture to look like that, but I can't get my eyeshadow that dark just using the Dragon Scales no matter how many coats I put on. I'm thinking that must be with a black or dark grey eyeshadow underneath. And, also, it's mega-glittery. So the more coats you put on, the darker and glitter-ie-er it gets. I had glitter all over my eyes and under them by the time I gave up trying to achieve the look in the picture. And, really, unlike the picture, it's way more maroon (and not so much grey) when just used by itself. All that said, it's absolutely beautiful on the eye. It has the prettiest sparkles in it, and it really accents my hazel-colored eyes. It could be put on lightly for day and heaver for night. Really versatile. Oh and the shipper was amazing. I got my package before the anticipated arrival date. I can't wait to be able to afford more Lime Crime!
