Exclusively for the Gifted Horse these magnificently hand painted Polish glass ornaments will create a lasting impression. The process for making Polish glass ornaments is made in the old traditional method that includes several technical activities. Machines are not employed because human hands are the most perfect instruments. First stage, the blower manually gives the ball an intended shape. Silvering is the next stage. It consists in coating the inside surface of a ball with silver. The silvering consists in the injection of prepared substrates inside, submersion of the ball in hot water and shaking it, this allows the metallic silver to settle evenly. Then the ball goes to the painting shop where qualified artists apply suitable colors on the glass form mostly with special paints, brocade, etc. The last stage includes cutting of the ball's neck, fixing suspension springs and lastly but most importantly comes the hand painting; done meticulously by Mr. Kasprzak, owner and head artist. He continues a worldwide known tradition of Polish hand painting glass ornament art, maintaining the highest quality possible, with careful and thoughtful attention given to accuracy and detail. Each ornament is truly a unique work of art to be displayed and passed down to future generations. All ornaments are 4 in diameter and a number of designs to choose from. Imported.
