When I first laid eyes on these Koala socks, I thought to myself "Oh, it's just another pair of Koala socks like the dozen or so I already own." Boy was I wrong! I remember receiving these socks. The delivery man left the package right leaning on the totem pole I have on my front lawn. I came home and scoped this package, knowing deep down that my koala bear socks had arrived. I ran out of the car, grabbed the package, and tore it open as I ran toward my house, eagerly anticipating its super sweet contents. As I was running, I tripped and fell on my driveway, cutting my leg open. Refusing to be deterred, I crawled the last 30 feet or so to my house. I made it to the bathroom where I immediately proceeded to clean my leg from the blood so I could try on my new pair of koala socks.

The first thing I noticed when I put them on was how comfortable they were. It really felt like a real koala bear was hugging my feet, nibbling on leaves in all his koala bear happines. I started to walk around the house to try out the new socks. When I got to my back door, I noticed that a pack of wolves had gathered around the pool of blood I left behind when I tripped and fell on the driveway. Feeling an overwhelming sense of confidence from my new koala socks, I went outside to try and chase them away. When I got outside, the pack of wolves immediately sensed my presence and began approaching. The leader of the pack clearly wasn't happy and was growling at me. As I prepared for battle, I thought about how I was now outside in my BRAND NEW koala socks and I became fearful that they would get dirty, a sign of disrespect for the koala. Too bad I didn't have time to think about this too much as I knew I was standing face to face with angry wolves. All of a sudden, the wolf lunged at me. To my surprise I felt a great deal of pressure in my pant legs. You can imagine my astonishment when I realized that the koalas on my left and right socks respectively had come to life, rushed out of my pant legs, and met the lunging wolf in mid air. While koalas are generally peaceful they must have been aware that I was in great peril. The koala from my right sock tackled the wolf while the left sock koala began to chase the other wolves. They had saved my life. When I got back inside I was even more amazed that my koala socks weren't even dirty after I had been standing outside in them. I was so happy.

The moral of the story is that these magical koala socks turned out to be my guardian angel. Not only are they still extremely comfortable, but the koalas on them actually saved my life and you don't even need to feed them! I would wholeheartedly recommend these socks to anyone who lives in an area frequented by wolves or other beasts of the night, or wants socks that do not get dirty ever because of their magical powers.

I bought these koala socks last week through Amazon/Big Zoo. The socks themselves are quite nice. The koala and branch patterns are actually woven into the socks, not just printed on. The socks are even made in the USA.

However, there's no sizing chart online to help you purchase the right size. I ordered a "MED" size and I got kid's sock size 7-8.5 (for age 6-9 yrs). Well, I'm 5'10" so I guess I will be giving these cuties to a niece or nephew!

According to the sock packaging, the company, Wild Habitat, makes socks in three kids sizes [for 6-15 mo, 2-4 yr, and 6-9 yr] and two adult sizes [adult med 9-11, adult lg 10-13]. If it's important to you to get the right fit in any pattern of Wild Habitat socks, I would contact the seller before purchasing to make sure you get the correct size you need. Because while the socks themselves are quite a good value, when you add the cost of shipping, your risk of making an expensive mistake increases.

These are truly beautiful socks! I love to add something a little interesting to what I wear, or just wear them with your jammies at night. The colors are very steadfast and bright. The artwork is wonderful and of course, who doesnt like koalas? This seller also ships very quickly, product is perfect upon arrival, and no problems with seller at all. Very good purchase. I would recommend them to anyone. These particular socks fit me perfectly as I am a ladies size 8.5 shoe. Have a little fun and buy some Koala socks for yourself or makes a great gift!
