I own all three Lincoln Brewster CD's and this one is my favorite (not that any of the others are bad). I have them stacked backed to back in my CD player. Lincoln is an amazing guitar player and his vocal talent is top quality. I recently saw him in concert and he puts on a most excellent praise and worship concert. His love for God shows through his music and radiates to all who listen. God blessed Lincoln with his amazing musical talent and He blessed Lincoln's fans too. This is a must have CD for any Christian music collection.

I honestly bought the disc having never heard of Lincoln - I was thinking 'with a name like that, it's got to be great' - a most fortunate decision on my part. Lincoln is not the cookie-cutter music found in CCM nowadays - the arrangements, guitar leads, sincere lyrics and clean production are most welcome. I hope the industry sees Lincoln's music as raising the bar for other talent. I look forward to more music from Lincoln. What a blessing ....

This CD is a breath of fresh air musically. Lincoln Brewster delivers an excellent combination of musicianship and lyrical honesty. Mr. Brewster is amazing on the guitar... truly gifted. He has Michael-W-Smith-esque gravel-like qualities to his voice which probably makes the listener either love him or hate him. However, what impresses me most about this album is the depth of the soul-searched lyrics. The CD opens with several fun, jump-around-type songs which slowly segues into a more introspective look at ourselves and what we are searching for.

Rock and roll with an edge!Guaranteed to be a phenomenal experience for REAL music fans everywhere! There are some really great guitarists out there, but a few who are truly gifted:this guy is one of THOSE! His talent will capture you...what he has to say will motivate you! A must listen for sure!

My wife and I own all of Lincoln Brewster's albums and this one is my favourite. This album, his first one, is the most different from the rest. I like his other albums as well, but they include far more covers of other peoples' songs and also a more generic Christian artist sound, compared with this one. I love the melding of great musicianship with heartfelt praise lyrics. At the time this album came out I'd never heard anything else quite like it within Christian music. Everything else I'd heard seemed to have a dichotomy between good musicianship and non-cliched, deeply Christian lyrics.

Another thing I enjoy about this album is the diversity of music. The songs don't all sound alike! This is one of my favourite Christian albums of all time.

Yes I said what I said, he is the head musical director at MY church in Roseville/Granite Bay at Bayside Church!! And he's AMAZING! I am so happy and glad I get to see him often enough he's there to perform at each and every service (unless he's on tour, or doing other things) then he has a back up to take his place for when he gets back....

He's a wonderful, and beautiful person and his son is sooooooo adorable and man can he wail on those drums!! And his wife is truly beautiful inside and out. I am VERY proud to know him personally - as my mother and dad have in the past talked to him frequently when they volunteered in either the Cafe or Starbucks on the campus of Bayside Church :-)

Keep up the awesome work Lincoln!! We love you!!

It's already been said but ill say it again: this man is truely one of the greatest christian guitar players out there. And I believe that because he plays for Jesus, he ranks with the greatest of all times, mainstream and christian! (IMHO) Again, if you play guitar, this album is a must! Oh to one day be half that good...

This is the best guitar-oriented Christian disc I have ever heard. How refreshing to have someone so good, yet maintain a passion for the Lord. If you play guitar, buy this disc NOW!!!!

I tried listening through this album the same day it arrived in the mail, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. I skipped most songs after a minute or two, hoping the next would be better, but that didn't happen. Sorry, everyone. I'm putting it back up for sale...

Combine top quality guitar work with a deep passion and desire for worship, and you get Lincoln Brewster. This is an amazing CD. You want it... you want it now. Get it.
