5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sheet Pans!
I just got these a few weeks ago and they are really great nearly all purpose pans. They are large heavy but not too heavy pans that are good for anything from baking cookies to roasting meat. They seem to heat very well and don't warp like my cheap nonstick pan. Whenever I baked the frozen fries from the store in them they come out perfectly unlike with my former...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not the Lincoln Food Service pan that you want
Thought I had found a great deal on the highly-rated Lincoln Foodservice half-sheet pans. I put the brakes on and cancelled my order after doing a little research, and finding out that these are the "Economy" weight and gauge pans. (The "Professional" designation intially threw me). THESE ARE NOT THE PANS YOU SEE ALL THE TIME ON TV.

You need to get the 13-gauge Lincoln Foodservice pans, which are twice this price, plus shipping from a third-party merchant. I wish Amazon would carry these in stock instead of through a third-party vendor,so I could order two and get free shipping. I do own the 13-gauge pans, and they are quite nice - heavy and sturdy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Cook Ilustrated's recommended pan, May 11, 2009
This review is from: Lincoln Foodservice 9303LN 13-by-18-Inch Heavy-Duty Sheet Pan (Kitchen)
This is not Cook Illustrated's highly recommended pan. Not the description states 19 gauge aluminum, which is much thinner than the recommended 13 gauge aluminum pan. The best place to get these pans, according to the Amazon customer discussion on this topic, is from www.wasserstrom.com ($10.50). Based on Lincoln's website, the item number for the 13 gauge half size pan is 5314 (http://www.lincolnsmallwares.com/Prod_Detail2.cfm?id=74).

They seem to heat very well and don't warp like my cheap nonstick pan. Whenever I baked the frozen fries from the store in them they come out perfectly unlike with my former nonstick cookie sheet that was peeling and rusty (the fries always seemed to burn in that one!) This is a great pan for a great price! Other similar pans cost twice this and more. I wasted no time tossing that old pan in the garbage after using this one the first time. I recommend getting two.

1.0 out of 5 stars They shipped a different and inferior pan!, December 27, 2008

I bought this pan because it got an excellent review from Cook's Illustrated. But since the review, the company stopped carrying the professional model, so rather than tell Amazon they don't carry it, the company switched to an economy pan that they had instock. That was the pan they shipped. I am still looking for the pan that got the great review.

Probably most of the people looking at this came here from Cook's Illustrated magazine, or from one of their books. This isn't the pan they recommended. This is in fact a cheap, uninspired sheet pan.

What you want is the 12-13 gauge sheet pan (metal gauges are thicker the smaller the number is, 18 gauge is thin). Lincoln Foodservice #5303 for the half sheet, or #5315 for the whole sheet. It's stamped on the bottom, make sure you don't get something different.

5.0 out of 5 stars So easy to clean = LOVE, March 5, 2009

This is not your crappy baking sheet that warps in the oven and then is impossible to clean. Very heavy-duty, these pans clean with barely a swipe... unlike our old pans that were turning dark brown and required soaking AND a Brillo/SOS pad to get clean >:( Now that I got to throw out those devil-pans, we are ordering more of this item, and some smaller ones, too. Can't go wrong!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, September 22, 2009
This review is from: Lincoln Foodservice 9303LN 13-by-18-Inch Heavy-Duty Sheet Pan (Kitchen)
These are the sheet pans everyone should own! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. The best hands down. Nice weight, they don't warp, and with the CIA wire racks you are set for many wonderful hours of cooking and baking! Don't hesitate, you will not regret your purchase.

You know how your cookie sheets "pop" when you put them into the oven when you bake cookies? Well, these don't! They are heavy enough to withstand oven heat and do NOT warp! I bake my dogs treats on these at 425 degrees and they have never ever did the "pop" on me and have never warped. Best value ever. Wish I had had them years ago.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best jelly roll pan ever, December 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lincoln Foodservice 9303LN 13-by-18-Inch Heavy-Duty Sheet Pan (Kitchen)
I read about this product in Cooks Illustrated magazine and they were not wrong in their recommendation. It does not warp which was a problem with every other jelly roll pan I've bought. It looks like this will be the last pan I will have to invest in. I've had these pans for over a year and no problems yet and I like its shiny finish because things don't get too brown. I have told all my friends that they should invest in this pan and they can without breaking the bank when purchasing it.

These baking sheets are the best I have ever had. They fit perfectly into my small, antique Wedgewood oven, bake very evenly, and clean up in a snap. I am looking forward to making perfect cookies this holiday season.
