These set of Lincoln Log were a total hit for my three granddaughts. They spend many hours playing with them and for three girls, they are rough on them. And, they last.

I got this for my kids who are 8 and 11. They both love to build with them and will play for hours with them. I think the more you have, the better, as they love to create villages and play with them with their little action figures.

I tried real hard this Christmas to find a suitable toy for my grandkids (4 boys 3-10 years), something educational, fun, that could be shared, and, most importantly, something made in America. As a kid, my favorites were Tinker Toys, Erector Set, and Lincoln Logs. Online research showed Tinker Toys and Erector Sets were both MADE IN CHINA. I couldn't find out where Lincoln Logs were made, so I ASS-U-MEd they would be made in America. I purchased the BIG set of Lincoln Logs through Amazon.com partner at a fair price and reasonable shipping to the Grandkids. The product arrived well before Christmas, so I was pleased with this purchase - EXCEPT I queried my daughter on where the product was made, and was told the package said "MADE IN CHINA". Very disappointing.
What a shame American companies can't even make toys for our own kids.
