If you love traditional American music or music from the Civil War era, you
will enjoy this album. The Marine Band is on of my favorite wind bands and
they are renowned for good reason. Their performance of these historic
pieces reflect joy, triumph and sorrow, all feelings strongly representative
of the many sentiments in our country during this time. I especially love
the historic recording of "Lincoln Centennial" and the dramatic "La Forza
Del Destino."
