This is an excellent book, a hidden treasure. No other author spends this much print in discussing the place where Lincoln really grew up - and gained his values and mindsets about life - Indiana. Yes, not Kentucky, land of his birth, not Illinois, the "Land of Lincoln," but Indiana. Some biographies barely mention it if at all. Well written and interesting.
