Lacks detail...,

This review is from: Lindberg 1:25 scale Chrysler Atlantic (Toy)
This kit differs little from the snapfit version offered by the same company. I got absolutely no satisfaction assembling it! The parts are limited and as a matter of fact I only used a couple of drops of glue for the entire assembly. This would be a good father and young son project, I emphasis young. Molded in color I only did some minor interior details that are virtually unnoticed. There is no engine so no opening hood. There's a total of five interior parts including the seats, no chassis detail other than dual chrome exhaust pipes. To their credit tiny decals of Chrysler badging are included. With the metallic body and the few glittering chrome parts, decent fit and finish, this still makes a nice replica. Most accomplished modelers will pass this one up, hoping someone else will offer a more detailed kit. As usual Lindberg provides no biography notes, only an instruction sheet. The original design conceived around 1993 was influenced by the Bugatti Atlantique and some of the opulent cars of 1930s. It has a straight 8 engine comprised of two Dodge Neon 4 cylinders. It would have been nice to build them! Even today this show car is rolled out for viewing and represents the dramatic designs Chrysler spawned for nearly the last twenty years.
