Linden's experiences is similiar to the life adventures of many of us as we
learn and grow in this lifetime, like being in the Valley (the bottom) then climbing to the Mountain. I felt Linden getting in touch with his strengths and truly appreciating himself and having compassion for the people in his life. Linden found he wasn't alone. I am recommending this book to all my friends.

I LOVED this book and feel everyone would not only enjoy it immensely but could actually benefit from reading it. A best seller for sure! It is a fun, thrill-filled ride as well as a substantive book on how to progress in our own lives. Alan Cohen's books are always good and take me higher. This one is no exception. I've read it once and am going back for the second time to cherish all the spiritual principles that are interwoven so beautifully into the exciting drama of Linden's life lessons. Linden has become a best friend!

Linden Has Just Begun,
This review is from: Linden's Last Life: The Point of No Return Is Just the Beginning (Paperback)
This book was fantastic. I have read the author's other books that are very inspirational usually located in the self-help areas. This one is different....it has the best of both worlds with the bold story of fictional novels with many spiritual twists along the way. It was one of those rare books that is so well written that you could read it very quickly but want to slow down to savor the experience. I was pleasantly caught off guard several times as the story rolled through multi layers of understanding. Wow, I hope the author writes another book in this unique genre soon. I don't want to read anything now but his work!!!

SUPERB!,
This review is from: Linden's Last Life: The Point of No Return Is Just the Beginning (Paperback)
FABULOUS! I love the story, the characters, the writing - TWO THUMBS UP! I especially love the passage on page 234, the meditation by the river. Alan takes the reader right there with Linden. I have never read such a beautifully articulated passage about losing oneself in the now moment as this. Reading an Alan Cohen book is always a life lesson plus a good time. Linden's Last Life tops the Alan Cohen chart as far as I am concerned. Bravo!

Alan Cohen is by far, my favorite author. After reading his book "Why Your Life Sucks" my life changed dramatically and I decided to become a life-coach. I owe him so much. Since then, I have read several of his books and assign them to my clients. Well, he has done it again. "Linden's Last Life" started out well, turned great, and in the end became one of my all-time favorite books. I could NOT put the book down and was even late to a few meetings because I could not stop reading it (oops. but not with any clients so don't worry).
This is an inspirational book, that addresses many of the fears that we have as a human race. He masterfully combines important life-lessons, spirituality, metaphysics, and questions regarding "life" that we all have, into a beautifully written novel. It's incredibly entertaining, but at the same time teaches important life-lessons. The characters are brilliant and you will fall in love with all of them. Best of all, there is an awesome twist at the end. Fantastic! You will NOT be able to put it down. So what are you waiting for? Purchase it today!!! Thanks Alan. You continue to amaze me.

How much does your life mean to you...This one will make you stop and think! Linden is down on his luck and at the lowest point in his life.
A stranger being at the right place at the right time begins Linden's journey to find himself, the meaning of life, and the realization that things aren't always as they seem. His journey takes him to many places throughout the world, allows him to meet new people that lead into important and meaningful friendships, and find out the meaning of love. His road is not always easy, with lots of problems and hardships. In the end, he realizes that what he thought he was looking for all along was not what he really wanted. He took things for granted and almost lost what he had been looking for all along. No matter which God you believe in, this is a great story that will remind you that you will not be deserted. Whether you, like Linden, are also down on your luck, going through some of your own hardships, or just want a positive uplifting story to read...you will find it right here, in this book! Excellent writing, excellent story line. I did read this on my Nook, downloaded from Barnes and Noble and there were very few grammatical errors BUT Chapter 11 was missing.

An endless cycle of misery takes more than death to stop. "Linden's Last Life: The Point of No Return is Just the Beginning" follows Linden Kozlowski, a man on the edge who wants to end it all. A monk tells him that ending his life will just begin his misery anew, and he must go on a mystic journey to break the rebirth cycle. But when he goes on the process, he finds that maybe ceasing his existence might not be the best idea. "Linden's Last Life" is a spiritual and thought provoking read, highly recommended.

A friend recommended this author. I didn't want to read yet another self-help or new age spirituality book, so I chose Linden's Last Life instead because it's a novel. I thought the plot was trite and predictable and the writing style was lackluster at best. I had to force myself to finish it since I could already predict the ending from 200 pages away. Maybe some of Cohen's other books are worth reading, but after wasting my time on this one I'm not willing to give him another chance.
