I have tried other brands, but I always come back to Lindy/Little Joe for quality and functionality. This slip bobber comes with all you need for slip bobber fishing: The float, several hooks, and bobber tie stops. Easy to set up, the tie cord can be cut to fit through rod ferrules, and of course is adjustable. I like this type of slip bobber best, as there are no springs to deal with. Admittedly, one has to cut the line, tie knots, etc., to set up the slip bobber, but once set, it will perform flawlessly. I have had several of these for years, and they are hardy and will not leak or sink. The bright yellow top and red stick top can be seen even after a long cast. Use the weight you wish to greatly reduce the pressure fish will feel when they hit the bait and pull down the bobber. I use this slip bobber mostly for panfish, but it is also excellent for walleyes in shallow water. I've also used it to catch bass - baited with a larger minnow. Many fish have lost their lives to this slip bobber! Excellent addition to any tackle box.
