The quality of the fabric is good, not too thin for a cotton dress.

Perfect dress, and I'm surprised myself about saying that as my standards for most things, including clothes, is quite high. The size was perfect, any breathing room in the waist is easily sorted with the belt. The neckline cut is just right, and along with the arm cut gives a slimming appearance. I should also add that the belt was great quality but came without the small round piece that holds it in place at the back so I wouldn't have to tuck it in.
I've ordered similar designer dresses online costing $300-$400 and had to return them as quick as possibly cos they were so disappointing. This $50 dress is agreat fit and quality especially for the price. The material is pretty good too. I got the midnight blue and I think the color is beautiful.
The Only thing i'd like to see with these dresses in the future is the addition of side pockets and full lining. Lining the top half of the dress would make it look more expensive, as it would better hide the visible thread stitched in at the rim of the neckline and arm.
I'll definitely be ordering this dress again in different colors.

I'm very pleased with the dress! It's made out of cotton, so it's very comfortable to wear, doesn't itch or anything. It's also quite thin, so if you're looking for an ideal 1950s summer dress, you found it.

I ordered the grey one and it's about one or two shades darker colour than that on the picture, but still very nice (medium blue-ish grey). I have no complaints about the quality of the dress, I think it's appropriate given the price and cheap material - the dress does NOT look cheap though, at least in my opinion.

Size wise, I'm 34' in bust, 26'4 in waist, so I was caught between XS/S but decided to go for S. However, the dress runs a bit bigger than the approximate measurements, it is nothing major though since it looks fitting anyway. Any breathing space on the waist can be fixed by the belt. The dress arrived within two days since the order (I live in UK) so it was a pleasent surprise!

I also bought a petticoat from Lindy Bop to come with it (see my review) and I would definitely advice you to do so too as it is CRUCIAL for the look! I guess you can wear the dress even without a petticoat, but I think it looks awkward and sloppy since it is a 1950s circle skirt and the 'A' frame is kind of THE point of a dress of such design. Just be careful to really buy a petticoat of 26' in lenght, a shorter one will not support the whole skirt and it will create an unflattering 'stair' on the hem.

Overly, I am very happy about the dress and would definitely recommnend it. It really gives you that 1950s movie star feeling in everyday life :)

I bought a size 20, I am a 18 US. It fit beautifully. The belt did not fit well but that was fine I just made a hole in the belt and it worked out. I have a large DD chest and the dress worked well with the correct long line bra. I would suggest the petticoat as it makes the dress sit perfectly.

Before purchasing this dress I read many reviews. Each review left out details that were needed for me to make a concrete decision. So to do everyone a favor I am going to write one.

I am 5'7" tall, 186lbs, measurements 40 bust, 37 waist and 41 hips. According to the size chart I was in between the following two sizes.
2XL. TO FIT APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: BUST- 42". WAIST- 35". TOTAL LENGTH- 44".
3XL. TO FIT APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: BUST- 43". WAIST- 38". TOTAL LENGTH- 44".
To save myself any heartache I ordered the 3XL which is a bit big in the waist but nothing a good belt can't fix. You will need to iron it and it does not come with cleaning instructions. The length is about mid-calf on me which is great for the look and the petticoat is a MUST. The dress arrived in GREAT time at ONE week. The color is turquoise just as pictured however the dress is trimmed in a maroon color and the belt is red (they don't match). Some were complaining about the material, I think it is just fine. In the end I am very pleased with this dress!

Very beautiful. Used this for our vintage engagement photos. Perfect for the 40's and 50's era. Material is thinner than I expected and I ordered on a size bigger thinking that it ran small, but that was too big. I suggest ordering your regular size. The dress comes below the knee, very conservative!

I have to say, I love the style of this dress. For the price, it's good (a vintage-style dress for $50? Sold!). It shipped really fast, the sizing was accurate (my bust is 34, waist 28, I got a "Small"/UK 10 and it's a bit loose in the waist, fits bust perfectly.) and the color is cute (plum). The belt came black instead of purple, but is poor quality anyway so I'll just use one of my own.

It has a lot of loose threads. Like, a lot. I don't expect this dress to last very long, so I'm going to have my friend reinforce the hems and try to be gentle with it. A lining for the dress would be nice too, as it is a bit thin. Not see-through, though.

I normally wear an 8 or a 10 in US sizes,so I ordered the 14. It was a bit big, overall, even after washing/drying (which shrank it slightly). The arm holes, however, were small & tight, which made it uncomfortable.
