Overall, good. If anything, it needs cut-proof material up along the top of the hands for hooks that may end up in places other than just the palm.

This glove was a gift from my son. I had recently purchase a boat to salt water fish, and he was with me when I caught a shark. Putting your hand near the shark's mouth to remove the hook is a little concerning! But now I have this glove at the ready and can eaisly remove the hook from any fish mouth so as to return it to the water. This glove is easy to get on and off, and is not hot to wear even in the FL heat.

This was listed as a medium size but, when I received the actual glove, it was size small-medium. Not good. I returned the glove for a larger size.
