I bought this effects board thinking "hey this is great. I can get all the effects in one place". The problems just got worse the more i used it. At first i noticed that it made a lot of feedback through my amp and a low thumping noise whenever i palm muted or played low range chords. I took it back to Guitar center and they said "oh it must be a faulty one" and they exchanged it for another. When i hooked the new one up I had the same problem. Tried it on several amp setups (all of which work great with any other effect pedals or guitars. I also thought it might be my guitar, so i tried other guitars with the same problem. I did some research online and didnt find much, just a few forum posts with people with the same issue and just being told that it must be their guitar or amp setup. I decided to take it to a friend of a friend who builds guitar sand repairs guitars and amps. He worked with it for a week and it still had the same issue. The only solution I could find for the problem was using an eq on my effects that cut lows....needless to say that doesnt sound the greatest.
Also, after about a month of using the podxt live with very careful use, (i take very good care of my music equipment), I noticed the wah pedal starting to make a horrible metal grinding sound and not working as it was supposed to. once again looked on the forums for podxt and found that its a known issue with the podxt live.
To summarize, i am not an anti Line 6 guy or anything, i do like some of their amps. However, this pedal board gave me nothing but headaches. The only effects i could seem to use (including factory loaded ones and ones i downloaded from line 6 themselves) without feedback and noise issues were very tinny and sounded highly processed. I couldn't see recomending this pedal board. It wouldnt be too much more costly to just buy the 3 or 4 pedals you use regularly and create your own pedal board.
