BY-LINE: ERNEST HEMINGWAY is a collection of Hemingway's articles and dispatches covering a span of four decades.
The first part consists of pieces written for the Toronto Star Weekly between 1920 and 1924; the second set of pieces from Esquire from 1933-1939. The third section deals mostly with the Spanish Civil War and the fourth covers the Chinese situation in June 1941 and WW II. The final part consists of pieces written after 1949.
