I have difficulty finding time to read, but enjoy listening to audiobooks as I fold laundry. Francine Rivers's books are entertaining and set my mind on beneficial things. I would certainly recommend this series. The recording is well done and the books well written.

This book will change your perspective on so many things! It is truly empowering and inspirational. I reccomend it, along with all of Francine Rivers' other books.

If it is hard for you to open the bible, these books are amazing stories that stimulate your interest in learning the Truth. Rivers has a wonderful sense of storytelling that elicits you and grabs your attention bringing me right into the heart of the historical times. I am a devout Christian and was given one of her books when I was Baptised at 39. I had never read the Bible, raised Jewish, and have now read most of it and am a seeker of God's heart. When I read Rivers books, I am part of the relationships that she brings to life: the heartache, the hopes, the heroes and the light of the wisdom learned through scripture. These women touched my heart and soul. I hoped for them, and then , I realized they are all me! I can't help but open the Bible and want to learn what is in it, after learning how our Mighty Lord always "saves" those that revere Him.

No matter what religion you are, you learn from opening the Bible about our history and how to live a good, Godly life. These books will help motivate you in a way that something else might not have.

I love this book because it connects these five women through history down to Jesus.

My mom really enjoyed the books on CD because she can listen to them on her way to work especially when her favorite station goes out.

I borrowed a book like this from a friend who got it in South Africa and I thought that was the only place you could get it. I found it on Amazon to give it as a gift. Amazon has everything! It goes through the women of the bible in order (hence the title Lineage of Grace). Francine takes the story we know of these 5 women from scripture and embellishes it with emotions and details. Great read!

What a great book! I really enjoyed each segment. All five of the stories gave new insights into the heart of each of the women, as well as the men they had to deal with! I loved Mary's change of heart at the end of her story; loved that Boaz was an older man afraid that Ruth might not love him; loved the motives attributed to Bathsheba's story; enjoyed the development of David's character over his lifetime; loved the fleshing out of Jesus' childhood and how he differed from his siblings. A really nice, inspiring, and easy read. I would actually give this 4.5 stars.

I heard these tapes on a long trip and it made the trip easier to endure.
The writer took me on the journey with her. They are great.

What a find. I have the hardback versions for myself and gave this as a gift. I wish it was available in the states though.

Lineage of Grace Series by Francine Rivers is amazing, as all of her books are! What a great read!
