The new Genie "key ring" remotes have gotten rather large and I was looking for a small one like the Genie remote I already own. This is exactly like the one I purchased years ago with the Genie name on it. It fits out-of-sight in the coin box (ashtray) of my car and works great with my Genie Excelerator garage door opener. Just what I was looking for and much less than the Genie remotes at the local home improvement store.

I ordered 3 different intellicode garage door openers and these are the most compact and thus far more reliable than the Genie brands and equally as responsive.

I got this to keep on my key chain since we've had a few breakins in town where they will steal your garage door opener & insurance info then hit your house and I was weary of keeping my opener in the car. The size is perfect! It is the same size as my car remote opener. The only complaint I have is that it is finiky. Sometimes it will open the door from 4 houses away and sometimes I have to push the button a few times to get it to open. When I push it to close the door I guess it sends the signal twice sometime because it will send the door down but a second later the door is going back up again. Yesterday it was almost down and I started driving off only to see in my rearview mirror that it was going up again!

It opens my two garage door openers, but does not work on the Drive-in Front Gate. After many phone calls, I was finally told, that this does not work on Gated car drive-in doors. Disappointed!

Easy to pair with automatic garage door opener. Great range so door opens in plenty of time. Came with battery.

It worked great when it was new and even when I didn't want it to work. Just leaving in my pocket with other keys, a small nudge causes the buttons to activate so sometimes when i step out of my car while in the garage the door would close since I slipped the keychain remote into my pocket. After a few years it is not working so great. It does not open when I press the button standing in front of the garage. I took it apart to find out the design is probably flawed that the battery contacts are not tight enough so that it gets enough power. I see the LED light come on very faint but if I take the entire remote apart it lights up very bright.

Easy to program and works without any problems. My kids keep their old remotes in their cars outside and after my son's car was broken into it seemed silly to leave a key to our house in the car so I bought this small key chain model so the kids bring it into the house.

I bought this to put on my key ring for my motorcycle so I could have a garage door remote for the motorcycle.

I chose this one because it was smaller than all the others. It's definitely small (though a bit heavier than I expected) and programming our Genie Intellicode Garage Door Opener (GDO) to work with it was a snap.

Only gripe is it's easy to accidentally press the button and open or close the door just by putting the key ring in your pocket or reaching into your pocket.

I had purchased at least 4 remotes around town trying to find one that worked, none did. I went to to amazon.com, there where lots of choices. each one had a perfect discription of the remote and which garage door it would open, this was the right one,.
