This review is from: Linear Least Squares Computations (Statistics: A Series of Textbooks and Monographs) (Hardcover)
This is one of the few textbooks on applied statistics. As such, it covers algorithms widely used in commercial statistics software but rarely explained in mathematical forms. It is written for students and researchers in this field instead of users, so readability is not a strong suit. But given its uniqueness, interested readers have few alternatives. It is also 24 years old. The most recent advances in this field can therefore only be found in journals. |
