This book is a very good book for intermediate and advanced. It's discriptive and helpfull. It tells you what you need to know about using your programs on the internet, and also how to create a program that allows the user to save and open from the director program. it also helps you learn some of the basics as well. It's very well writin and is recomended for anyone who wants to get into the advanced lingo language. It will tell you everything you need to know. The only flaw is that it for a few things it could be a little bit more discriptive on how to program certian comands and what not. Other than that it is a great book for those who hunger for more knowledge about the scripting language LINGO!

This book has many good points. It fills in many of the holes that are left by Macromedia's manuals. There are some useful points and examples, but to call the book "advanced" is really pushing it. This book is for intelligent beginners, and it is regretable that many of those people may not buy it based upon its title. These people will miss the good things that are here. Personally I learned more about the author than I did about Lingo.
