4.0 out of 5 stars Voyager II Translator
Great--very handy for typing in unknown words,
but I wish I could type in a phrase instead of just using the available phrases.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible
This was a gift from a well-meaning relative.
The audio is unintelligible.
The menus are difficult.
A $20 toy, not a $200 tool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great item, March 22, 2009
This item translates many lanbuages. It has overlays that show the other languages next to the keys. It also shows the word on the screen in both languages. This should be great for my squad and I to use in Iraq.

Visted Spain and I'd say that the translator had about 50%-60% of the words that we tried to look up. Usually we found enough words to get the meaning of signs and conversations so it was useful but not the solution we had hoped for. Wish that more of the words we found had to do with what a tourist needs most (food and shopping). The audio playback is a computer generation so sometimes it can be extremely hard to understand.

This product was not quite what I expected. Called the supplier who issued return authorization and refunded my payment. Excellent service.
