Excellent picture quality. The 3G streaming feature is neat, but I could only get it to work from inside my network, not externally.

This review is from: D Link Inet Ip 3G Webcam 802.11G (Personal Computers)
A quite good value for a wireless camera and support for 3G mobile devices. It offers business and individual a cost effective, flexible and convenient to remotely monitor a home or office in real time from anywhere within a mobile phones 3G service area. When used with the email alert system, mobile users can view camera feed without a notebook PC and Internet. The live video feed can be accessed through 3G cellular networks by compatible cell phones.

The camera is also viewable from any Internet Streaming Media Alliance Compatible device, it also had a built in high speed 802.11g wireless network interface, allowing image to be transfered up to to 54mbps wireless speed.

D-Links IP surveillance camera management software is included to help you enhance the functionality of this camera. you can manage up to 16 compatible cameras simultaneously with this program. you can also use this to archive videos straight to a hard drive or network attached storage device, you can also playback videos and set up motion detection to trigger video and audio recording, This will save you disk space and eliminate time wasted to view unnecessary images.

Alternatively aside from receiving alerts from your camera, you can access and control the DCS 2120 via the web using internet explorer. It can also be accessed and viewed from any network place as a device on the network.
