Book Description

October 1, 1998
PGA professional Jim Linkin describes the changes that golfers need to make as they approach their senior years. His vast senior teaching experience enables him to clearly describe how we change and what adjustments we need to make to play better. Basic fundamentals include building a foundation for a solid senior swing. Chipping, pitching, bunker play, putting, and trick shots arm the senior golfer with the ability to score. A complete guide to how today's equipment can help the senior golfer is detailed. The book ends with a special ladies' section describing additional changes ladies need to make to play better.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best golf book i have ever read, June 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Link to Senior Golf: How to Play Better and Have More Fun (Paperback)
I cannot praise this book enough. Jim Linkin is truly gifted in that the vast majority of his golfing tips are straight forawrd, easily understood and capable of execution by the average golfer (I play off a 22 handiap). Golf is now just that bit more enjoyable. I hope he will write more!

This book has already given me an understanding to the changes that occur to the golf game as the body changes. The techniques described are invaluable. Mr. Linkin has provided an easily understandable guide for golf

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Just For Seniors, February 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Link to Senior Golf: How to Play Better and Have More Fun (Paperback)
Purchased for my friend's dad, but discovered that although directed towards older golfers, the clear, accesible prose and (thankfuly) large number of photos make this a great book for any age or level.
