If you are not a golfer, this book is not for you. If you are a golfer you will probably disagree with many of the mystical, philosophical, illogical connections to the game. But if you read "Golf in the Kingdom" and thought it was a bunch of pretentious, sanctimonious drivel, you may find Zachary Michael Jack's venture into fantasy a little easier to take. Every serious golfer has his or her share of weird ideas about the real meaning of the game. That's why we keep writing about it.
I've wasted more time waiting for a slow foursome to putt out than it took to read this. It's worth it.

Read this after discovering the author's recently published book titled Let There Be Pebble. The Links of Evalon is an excellent book for golf lovers of any age as well as anyone else who enjoys a great read. A creatively written novel of adventurous and memorable golf coupled with a heartfelt relationship between father and son. Pick this one up.
