Unit does only have one antenna... great strong signal but it continually reboots all by itself.. as in every few minutes. Apparantly this is a problem with these combo units and looking at getting seperate components now.

This Linksys modem and router is not shown as the picture. There is only one antenna behind the modem. The wire internet connection works pretty well. But the wireless works not that good. It may go disconnected when I used my laptop to connect wireless. And When the wireless function goes out, I need to restart it. Anyway, as a modem, it did its job.

Modem/ router did not work - ISP could not "see" the MAC ID. I could not return the refurb'd unit to the seller, so I had to contact Linksys for a replacement. It's not worth the hassle, 3 hours of "tech support" not to mention that I have to cover all the S/H fees.

Not recommended.

I was a bit hesitant after reading the negative reviews. I bought this refurb unit anyways since it's the cheapest modem/wireless router combo available. The Comcast technician set it up with no problems. After calling in the MAC address, the unit took about 5 min to recognize the signal. Have not had any hangups. The wireless features are easy to configure. I connect it with my labtop and iTouch and both works flawlessly for about 4 days now.

Tested it outside the house with the iTouch and the signal locked on from 50 ft away. Glad I made the purchased.

Update (9/2011) Wow, can't believe I've had this item for almost 2 yrs now. After a couple of weeks out of the box, the wireless part started to act up. Signal drops all the time when connected to my labtop on wireless. I spent many phone calls with tech support and finally exchanged for another RM unit thru the linksys customer service.... I found a Linksys Forum where many others had the same problem - it sounded like a very well know flaw with this combo unit.

I since then use a hard ethernet connection to my labtop and forgo the wireless and like others said, the modem function is flawless. I still keep wireless on for the iTouch as well as for a UMA connection to my Blackberry. I get no difference at all with the voice quality and there's no cell phone charge when on UMA. I wish the wireless function works on the labtop but it doesn't.

I found it to be very easy to install. It works great. It is refurbished and it works great. I give it a 5 on all points. I am very pleased with it.

I was hesitant to buy this product after reading the reviews, but i have absolutely no complaints. The thing is a tank; it doesn't reset and gives great signal anywhere we are in our condo. It didn't work initially, but when i called my ISP back, they configured everything. I love that i saved 110 dollars buying the refurbished linksys.

It is just what we needed. It is working great. Would buy from them again.

Excellent unit. Arrived in a few days, complete with everything needed. Even had a CD for older versions of MW Windows. With Windows7 nothing is needed for installation which made it even easier to install.

I bought this product on Jan.31. I just install it today the wireless g card is not install in my router. Only can use it for a modem not wireless. Still have to use my other Linksys router.

The modem worked fine but the wireless router was really bad. it took 2mins to load google. then i bought another router and connected to this. it was very fast. i do not worry because this was cheap, and was cheaper than the cox modem.
