Bought this for my 20GB Playstation 3 and it worked as soon as i plugged it in. I have an Airlink 101 router and a Touchstone modem which i thought may cause compatability issues but it works 100%. I definetly recommend it to anyone looking to make their PS3 wireless.

This is a steal, it is less than half the price the Microsoft adapter and works just as well. BUY THIS! I live in the basement in the back left corner of the house, and my router is on the 3rd floor in the front corner and it works fine, i occasionaly have a problem but it can easily be fixed.

I have been using this item for about a month and it works great with my xbox 360 every now and then i lose connection but it is not that long 5 to 10 min. but if parents are looking for a cheaper way to get there kids ethernet this is it this product is perfect it installs in 10 min. very simple.

The device is good if you only need 802.11B speeds (which is enough for internet play.) The issue that I overlooked was what encryption it supported. The WGA11B does not support WPA, no firmware update that I could find on linksys either, so I am left with a pretty decent device that I won't utilize on my network. I have none to blame but myself, however, as I was hasty and didn't pull up the full specs.

They failed to mention that the installation will only work off a PC. Good luck my fellow Mac owners.... Oh not to mention that you must be running a PC older then Vista to install! I just wanted a straight up adaptor that would search for networks and let me configure.... Not possible!

If you own a Mac don't buy!
If you own a PC running Vista don't buy!

For one third the price of the "Offical" Xbox360 wireless adapter, you can get true plug and play with this one. No lag whatsoever. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

I use this with my 360 and it works just fine. I can stream video,music,and download stuff from xbl with out any problems and setup is as simple as plugging it in and then pushing the blue button until the lcd screen says In.
Also on the 360 you can select what network you want to connect to if there is more than 1 available by going in to the setup menu and selecting edit network settings.

This is a good network adapter if you dont want to spend the money for the microsoft network adapter. only thing is that you need to add the adapter to your router through your pc. if you know how get into your router settings, then all you have to do is add the xbox and the adapter to the router. to do this, you need to add the MAC Code that is provided on the back of the adapter, and the xbox will provide you it's own when your going through the configuration process. one thing i do realize is that i have to go and refresh the MAC addresses for the xbox and the network adapter in order to get on to xbox live. if i find anything else about this ill post it on here. but for the most part, i have my own xbox and my wife's xbox right next to each other with the same wireless adapters on both consoles. I started to play COD4, burnout paradise, and halo 3 with my wife online at the same time, and i never saw a lag in any of the game play. this is the best and cheapest way to get a wireless capability without spending alot for something that does the same thing as this does.

you don't need wireless-g or -n for gaming. your max upload speed with cable or dsl is likely less that 1 mb/s, or roughly 10% of wireless-b. everything else is overkill (and overpriced).

Seems old right? But it's way better than paying $100 for Microsoft's glorified SAME product. This thing works great. I used to have it in my room, which is close to the router (on the same floor), but now it's moved to the basement. I was worried it wouldn't work at all, but all 5 bars on COD and HD picture on netflix. I was amazed, yet not really because it has worked so well for probably 2 years now. The installation on your computer is a little tricky, but once you figure it out, all works great. (You only need to install with computer if your internet is password protected).
