Will it work if a Linksys E2500 switch is installed between the DSL modem and a Linksys wireless router?

Hi Tomfred.

It actually depends on the design of your network. Normally, the setup is Modem << Router << SE2500, so that the purpose of the switch is to allow more ports to connect to the network.
On the other hand, putting the switch between the modem and the router would be ok, if the purpose is for signal reliability going from the modem to the router, especially for very long cabling. Note though that this setup is not ideal.

Thanks.
