I have had this product for 5 years now and it works great. the tech dude must not have read the doc that came with it. this device connects to your TV and to your network and will play what ever media you have on you network media server and I get perfict HD quility from the HT-l90lan. I had to play around with which dvd ripper I used to have full function of the remote...

Don't waste your time
My hope was to get a networked device to play on a TV the audio and video content from my PC. This product looked like it would do the job. I installed the software without any problems and I thought all was well until I played my first video. The picture quality was horrible. I thought there must be some mistake so I displayed a picture. It also looked really bad...

My hope was to get a networked device to play on a TV the audio and video content from my PC. This product looked like it would do the job. I installed the software without any problems and I thought all was well until I played my first video. The picture quality was horrible. I thought there must be some mistake so I displayed a picture. It also looked really bad. The next picture I tried wouldn't display at all and that's when I noticed the software server running on my PC crashed. While I could have got a bad unit, I decided not to waste any more time on this product and sent it back.
