This book is a heartwarming tale about a little boy panda from China that is adopted by his loving forever family. If you are an adoptive family or know a waiting family this book is a must. A great read aloud book with beautiful illustrations. A treasure!

Families are formed in many different ways. This is a delightful story about a young panda from China who lives with a foster family in China and is adopted by his forever family. The illustrations are bright and attractive. I received my copy last night and without any prompting my 10 year old and 12 year old read the book, attracted by the cover. This book is for much younger kids but they really enjoyed the story. The kids loved the book as much as I did. Kudos to this author for bringing to the forefront adoption, foster care and the mixed feelings a child may have in such a situation.

A delightful story of a young boy's adoption from foster care in China. The love from both the adoptive and foster families is wonderfully portrayed, and the overall feeling is one of comfort and security. Perfect for children who have been adopted after living with a foster family, and for any child to learn about one of the ways in which families are formed.

This book is an absolute gem and important read for any child who has been adopted, and especially for one who has experienced foster care. My daughter immediately embraced the story, the illustrations, and has begged to have us re-read it together every night since its arrival on our doorstep last week. Krista, you wrote an amazing and touching, very sweet story that resonates with both children and parents alike. It is a keeper forever. Thank you for helping me share with my own daughter what foster care means. You have helped me and my little one immensely. Please keep on writing! You have a gift................Thank you so much. xie xie

I bought a copy for my godson. He loves the illustrations; his parents appreciate the message of inclusion and love. Essentially, an ideal gift for any child.
