5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for it's intended use
We've had two of these for about 6 years now.
These are not intended to be permanent bedding, but are for temporary use for overnight guests.
The only trouble we've had is a spring has poked through a corner on one of the mattresses. A piece of masking tape over the spring problem.
They're durable and sturdy and for a cot, they're VERY comfortable...

1.0 out of 5 stars cheap
This is not an expensive bed, but I've had it for about a year and all the metal pieces that stop the legs from swinging broke off after a few uses. This makes it collapse when someone sits on it. I've got to throw it out. Disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Piece of Junk, February 19, 2005
This review is from: Roll-Away Bed on Wheels (Kitchen)
This is really a piece of junk...the mattress is nothing but a few springs covered with cloth and it definitely won't last. It's for a small child at best. The parts don't go together without redrilling the holes. I got it from target and their return policy is lacks.

I had the same problem that a previous reviewer wrote. The metal tabs that keep the legs in place bent after only three uses and now the bed won't stay up.

My kids prefer to give up their own beds to the guests, just so they can sleep in the cots(and they both have pillow top mattresses!).
Even I've slept on one for a couple of weeks after my last child was born and I found it comfortable and useful.
I however would not want to sleep on one of these all of the time, they DO sag as any cot does and eventually you start to notice where each spring is located in the mattress.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Excuse for a Bed, October 22, 2007
This review is from: Roll-Away Bed on Wheels (Kitchen)
This "bed" is made from very poor quality materials. The frame is poorly designed and the mattress is best left out of the package because it is worthless. If you are looking for a well made and comfortable guest bed this is not the one you want to invest in. It is a true piece of junk! This is the typical " you get what you pay for" item. However, this item is greatly over priced. Shouldn't be priced above $50.00. Then again that may be asking too much. I intend to return it to Target ASAP!

2.0 out of 5 stars Roll away bed, January 3, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Roll-Away Bed on Wheels (Kitchen)
This bed is extremely uncomfortable-the mattress sinks in the middle which makes the sides roll up over the occupant. It was necessary for me to add a dense foam mattress. I do not recommend this item at all, I was very disappointed. Thank you for allowing me to express my displeasure.

By my measurement, this bed is only 72" long. Also I couldn't get the 5/16" threaded posts of the casters throught the metal tubing of the bed. Using 1/4" screws, I could connect the metal cross-ties [Why is this critical piece missing from the picture?], but this left a 2" sag in the middle of the bed. The mattress is a bit soft for my taste, but seemed OK.
