Linux made easy (but that's not all),
By A Customer
This review is from: Red Hat Linux Installation & Configuration Handbook with CDROM (Paperback)
This book takes the sometimes complicated task of setting up and configuring a Linux workstation or server -- and makes it easy. But don't worry, this isn't a high-level gloss over of the OS like some of the books out there. No, it gives you the detail needed to build a high-powered, feature rich system. Highly recommended!

I found this to be a quite complete book covering the ins and outs of the Red Hat Linux distribution. After reading this book I felt I had learned alot and it answered a few questions that were nagging me that were not covered in other books.

[This book] has great coverage of Web servers and most basic and intermediate users don't use DNS on their PCs. this book makes great reading and helped me get productive with linux very quickly, without the extra crap some books include to add weight mostly. pound for pound this is a valuable resource and reference. check this book out at the book store and you'll see it's worth the money, and the reading!

Superficial - a poor effort!,
This review is from: Red Hat Linux Installation & Configuration Handbook with CDROM (Paperback)
I have bought 10 plus Linux technical books at this stage and this is in the bottom 2, the main real world use for Linux is as a DNS or Web server, this book simply glosses over that entire area, a poor effort overall, and a waste of money..
