Is this yarn or ribbon? I guess it can be used as both. It is classified as yarn but it's wide like ribbon. Working with the yarn was fun. It's very easy to use and it doesn't irritate the skin. The color I purchased was Carnival and for me, it was a bit too bright. I used it to make a scarf. The person that received the scarf loved the color.

Would I recommend this yarn/ribbon? Yes.

I love this ribbon yarn. It's the first time I've used this type of yarn and found it a little different to work with to begin with. Also, the colors and more intense than what they appear to be online. I plan to use this product again and would highly recommend it.

I bought Incredible yarn-Autumn leaves, the color shades are wonderful. I used it to make a topper from a book called "amazing crochet lace" its really beautiful.

I purchased the Autumn Leaves color to knit a sweater found on the Lion Brand website. If you read the description of this yarn, it clearly states "3/8 wide TAPE yarn". It does take a little time to get used to knitting with this tape/ribbon yarn, but the results are well worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this yarn again, for knitting or crocheting. Try it, you might like it!

I am a novice crocheter and had no difficulties using this yarn. I made a water bottle holder for my long hot weather walks and am making a headband too. The yarn is easy to work with and does not split. It has a shimmer to it, especially noticeable in the light colored sections..

I like to knit, so when I saw this item on Amazon, I bought it because of the beautiful colors.

The item could not be used for knitting! The width is approx 1/4 inch. The product is beautiful, but using it to knit, the discription is missleading. I tried to knit the scarf pattern,the product was too wide to use as yarn. I offered it to a friend, she declined the offer, saying "no thank you, that is not yarn, it is ribbon!" I gave the 3 balls I purchased to my daughter-in-law, she plans on using it to tie around presents.

The product is made by Lyon. On the inside of the Lion Lable Lyon also provides instructions on how to knit a scarf with the product. In their dreams!!! Had I known the width of the "yarn" I never would have purchased it.
