5.0 out of 5 stars Really nice yarn
I'm a beginning knitter, but this is already one of my favorite yarns to work with. It is soft and knits up beautifully. I've had several people remark how nice it was, then express surprise when I told them it was Lion Brand and made from organic cotton! The price is excellent for organic cotton yarn and I like that there are lots of colors to choose from. Great for...

1.0 out of 5 stars RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED
Lion Brand "Nature's Choice" yarn is fantastic. It's a joy to work with, it's super soft, and I happily knit it up into scarves and sweaters for friends and family members knowing that it hasn't been treated with anything unsavory, so to speak. My complaint here, however, is with Amazon's pricing. Search the rest of this website and you will find this yarn 50% cheaper. I...

Great for scarves, small purses, clothing...just about any project you could want to use it for. I usually order 4-5 skeins at a time and they were all from the same dye lots when I received them from Amazon. I was making a scarf using Macadamia and had to mix dye lots (had 2 skeins from the yarn store) and I can't detect any variation in the knitting so far. Very pleased overall with this yarn and definitely recommend for anyone interested.

I LOVE this cotton! It so soft and great for making baby things. I also feel so virtuous when I buy it :). Come on, it's organic!

I knitted a long scarf and it's perfect. I'm not a great knitter but this is really easy to knit. The quality is obviously very good.

This yarn is easy to work with, not stiff and abrassive like some yarn can be.

I'm a beginning knitter and have gone through 6 types of yarn before finding this one. It's perfect. Nice and soft, perfect for a scarf. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough yarn to make a single scarf so I had to buy another one to complete my project.

I recently bought the "Wildflower" yarn for over $20 thinking that perhaps it had been discontinued, but no, Amazon was just being a money-grubbing crook. So, go to Kmart or another shop that sells on Amazon instead.

I got this for my daughter's stocking, and she just loves it... she has begun to crochet and experiment with different types of yarn, and she really likes the feel of this...

4.0 out of 5 stars Feels nice to the touch, October 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Got this yarn because I am working on projects soon. This is very soft. The yarn is thick. It is thicker than normal worsted weight yarn. I would say it is probably better if you buy a couple of these if you are thinking of making anything bigger than a hankie. It is made of very nice material. It is very soft to touch. It looks just like it is pictured. There are waves in the thread. You could probably use this to make some thick outer wear sweater.

5.0 out of 5 stars I instantly fell in love with this yarn, September 6, 2011

I made a cowl from this yarn over the Labor Day weekend - the pattern is free on the Lion Brand Yarns website. Ir came out great and I am looking forward to wearing it now that the weather is turning cooler.

Pricing is all over the place for the various colors. The color Almond that comes up if you query "Lion Brand Nature's Choice" is a GREAT price, much lower than at the Lion Brand website, but many of the other colors are a little more expensive at Amazon, and the multicolor yarns are MUCH more expensive.

This yarn is so very soft and easy to work with. Cotton yarn is sometimes tough on the fingers as it usually doesn't have much give, but this yarn is very pleasant, nearly addictive to knit. Also it is always a plus when the ball comes pre-wound. I am excited to try more colors and patterns.
