I hung it on my entry porch and it adds a nice touch.

When I took it down I discovered that behind the lion head where the water comes out there is a cut out section that was not completely sealed.

I must admit I was wary when I ordered this; The price seemed too low and I wondered how sturdy it might really be. And then it arrived. Apparently the weight problems mentioned by other reviewers have been resolved as the shipping charges seemed appropriate. I was concerned that the large box had been substantially smashed in on two sides but, when removed, the fountain was in good shape. Initially I was perplexed by the instructions which for a pedestal and bowl fountain but it took only a bit of thought to conquer the problem. (Rather than try to mount the circulating pump through the hole in the back, one brings the hose through the front and lays the pump in the basin of the fountain.) To test it I hung it in my kitchen and allowed it to run for several hours as much to clean it as to verify that the mechanics all worked. Next test was to mount it on the side of the garage that forms part of the walls for my front garden. The only problem here was that there was no adjacent electrical outlet but it was an easy task to drill a hole through the wall and access an outlet in the garage. This is a West facing wall and can heat up to above 120 so I wondered how the resin might survive. Happily, after noon, the sun puts that area in shade and I've had no problems. Aesthetically it makes an attractive focal point for what was a dull area. I'm considering using a dry brush and some of the paint the colour of the garage to highlight the piece. If I have one modes complaint it's that the water tends to run out rather than shoot out the lions mouth but, lacking that, it produced a pleasant water feature noise that accentuates what is really an entrance to my home. Several guests have commented on it and I'm well pleased.Read more ›

It looks real pretty on the wall, but it was very hard to assemble. It took 2 days to start pumping the water and when it did, it went every place but down. I finally cut off the bottom of a syphon and stuck it in the lion's mouth and now it goes down !!! But water went all over the place until I figured out a solution.

This item is missreprsented in the discription. They claim it weighs 70lb. and charged for shipping a 70 lb item. It is made of polyresin and weighs about/at most 10 lbs. I feel ripped of not only because I was expecting a 70lb fountain and go a 10 lb one but was charged $30 plus for an item weighing on tenth of what I paid to have shipped. Big rip job. The Item itself is O.K. but not what I expected.

Save for the necessity of drilling a hole in a wall, this attractive wall fountain immediately gives a sense of presence to any small space. In this case, a path from an arch to my front door. It's a rather sparsely planted area relying on evergreens and some boxwood bushes. The fountain gives this rather mundane setting an importance. The sound is obvious and pleasant but not intrusive. The only leakage problems arose from my dropping it and were easily fixed with caulk. I also tried this on an interior wall and, while it was too much for spot I chose, it's easy to see how this might be used very effectively indoors. I'm considering dry brushing some gray paint-the color of the garage-to further blend it in but still leaving it with its own identity. The cost of shipping was reasonable and the cast material is sturdy-save when I drop it on a tile floor. If you have a place for this, it would be a welcome addition to any home or garden.

Was very happy to receive the product in one piece. I was afraid it might get broken in the process of delivery. Packing was excellent. Product quality was excellent.

We purchased the fountain and have it in the garden outside our bathrooms. It looks stunning when you look out the doors of two of our bathrooms. The only problem was the price of the shipping. It isn't nearly as heavy as the shipping cost would indicate it was. However, this made it easier for us to mount on the fence. We are enjoying it trementously.

I was surprised at how light the fountain is, which is a good thing for me because I wanted to hang it on the wall where there was no stud. But as soon as I plugged it in water poured out the back. When I took it down I discovered that behind the lion head where the water comes out there is a cut out section that was not completely sealed. I had some Seam Seal (a camping product) on hand so I was able to seal it right up. But it was a very serious leak all the way around that opening which was about 2.5x5". The other problem is that even with only a few inches of water in it (which is all it takes--- just enough to cover the fountain mechanism) a few drops of water splash out every few minutes. Since I bought this to use inside the house that's a little frustrating. The water has evaporated before accumulating so far, but it's summer and I'm not sure how it will be in the winter. All in all it looks really good though. Hard to tell it's only plastic.

I confess I like this silly thing, it sits on the wall outside the house and looks rather nice. When I first stuck it up we found that the water leaked from the back where the lions mouth was and I had to cut out the back where the water exits and reattach a small square of plastic, sealing it properly and gluing it well, before it would work without leaking - NOT a thing one wants to do on a new product. Still and all, it is cheap and you get what you pay for. Now it is on a timer and trickles water happily into the basin without leaking all day long.
