This CD is a good over view of a man who has been a major influence on Duke Ellington as well As Fats Waller. The tunes are very easy to listen to, and are compariable to either; Eubie Blake, or James P. Johnson. A excellent choice to anyone who's begining a Early Jazz Collection!
