Although young Lionel is seven feet tall, he is a disgrace to his warrior father, Lionclaw. The gentle boy would rather play his harp than learn to fight. So in fury, Lionclaw banishes him and puts a price on his head.
Lionel soon finds refuge in Sherwood Forest with a band of outcast led by Rowan Hood, daughter of Robin. But when Lionclaw learns of this, he vows to destroy the band. His men soon catch Rowan in a cruel trap and take her as hostage. To save her, Lionel knows he must finally face his father and take a stand.
The sequel to the award-winning Rowan Hood, this colorful adventure is sure to delight listeners young and old. Narrator Emily Gray captures Rowan's feisty band and the resourceful Lionel as they counter violence with more powerful forces.
