Dries my lips and smells awful,
This review is from: Lip Gloss by "Strawberry" by Burt's Bees (Health and Beauty)
I heard a lot of good things about Burt's Bees products and I purchased one of these. If I stick my nose in the jar, it doesn't smell all that waxy, but there isn't a strawberry scent either. When I do put it on my lips, I am overwhelmed by the smell of just WAX. Naturally you get some lip balm in your mouth, and unlike most other lip products, it feels like I ate a tub of wax even when I only put a little bit of product on the lips (about the size of one grain of rice). What is worse is that it does not really do anything a lip gloss should. It requires an awful lot of product to make my lips glossy, and when it does, I can't stand that "I JUST ATE A STICK OF CHEAP CANDLE!" feeling. It seems to rub off very quickly, as in a minute or two and I feel like I rubbed it off with my hands. Most importantly, it dries my lips out and I am in need of chapstick more than I was before using the lip gloss. I guess this was discontinued (for good reason) since I cannot find it on the Burt's Bees website.
