About the Author
Dr. Ban, with his wife Sadako, lives near Los Angeles, California, where he not only guides the business operations of the company, Quantimetrix, but also directs the scientific affairs with direct involvement in research and development of new products. Dr. Ban received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. Before founding Quantimetrix in 1974, Dr. Ban served as Clinical Biochemist Senior Scientist and Research Director in a number of industrial, hospital, and reference laboratories.
