The cherry coasters are nice looking and match the furniture, but they are missing felt on the bottom. So if you are planning on using them on cherry wood furniture, they had the potential to scratch and slip on the surface.

I opted for these coasters instead of glass coasters because I didn't want a coaster that would suction to the bottom of a glass with condensation, but I didn't get what I was looking for. These coasters are fine with mugs and hot beverages and tall stemware, and they are attractive, but when condensation drips down to the base of a glass, it will stick so that when you lift the glass the coaster comes with it for a few seconds, and then drops back onto the table.

These are beautiful coasters, the wood is very rich looking. The cherry wood is quite dark, so if you don't want a dark wood, look elsewhere. I am very happy with this purchase! :)

We received our cherry coasters in about 3 days and they look great. They are a well made product that I would recommend to anyone with dark wood furniture.

Nice looking but many cups stic because of the grooved desing and then drop on floor

I had the same experience as another poster here -- these coasters will stick to the bottom of your glass, and when you pick your glass up they will stick for a second longer, then crash with a loud clatter to your coffee table (possibly nicking the surface). Really frustrating when the baby was little, as he'd be asleep and then -- BAM! -- a sip of water woke him up! Heh.

Now that he's a toddler, I do have to say that these sort of double as stackable baby toys. He'll walk around with one in each hand, banging them together, or try to stack them in the holder (though the sides are getting wobbly from the abuse, that's not the holder's fault). Other than the holder, the coasters themselves don't even look much worse for the wear because of it.

I purchased this item as a gift. I was loking for a quality dark wood coaster set and this was perfect. The coasters arrived quickly and were exactly as pictured and described. I highly recommend this product.

It is a very nice set but one of the sides was loose on the stand that holds the coasters. It seemed like too much trouble to return it.
