Great Tea Box
The compartments, like most other tea chests are not meant for the wrapped and sealed tea bags, so they do not fit in well. I just put those in sideways and the problem is solved. The chest is pretty and is real wood.

broke instantly
as soon as my mom opened it up for christmas, the top latch broke. Its a pretty box but the hardware is flimsy.

I like this box. I was able to put many tea bags inside it. It looks nice and has a good size. The color is also pretty.I would recommend it especially when it's in sale.

Product is well made and looks great; but it came w/o the dividers that give it 8 compartments.
I waited about six weeks for them to send the dividers; but they sent a note finally saying they have no idea when they will be able to send them. So they are issuing a full refund. I would have much preferred the dividers.

I must say it's a beautiful box for the price.
I bought it and I was pleased, I immediately began to put my tea bags, and for my surprise I found that Harney & Sons wraps didn't fit! The same for Twining white tea. I tried to solve it putting the bags sideways, which was a problem trying to open the box, plus you don't see the front of the bags when you open it. I finally had to get some scissors and cut every single one of them. That is a problem because it's easy to cut through the paper so the bag is not sealed anymore. I've not tried with other brands, but if two of the most popular don't fit, it is a problem. |
