5.0 out of 5 stars Best Cutlery Tray
This tray works great for me. I recently purchased a 124 piece set of silverware (service for 12) and was looking for something that would hold it all and this was perfect. It's well made. Fits nicely in my drawer with enough room to store my steak knives on the side. It was even roomy enough to add my measuring spoons and some silverware I wanted to keep from my old set...

Quality:
1 (one) star - wood sides & melanine bottom. Workmanship is VERY poor. Initial delivery had gouged & poorly repaired base as well as broken off pieces of uprights glued to base. Ordered a second in hopes of semi-quality (as I really needed 7 slots & 14" x 18" dimension) and that one was OK.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm pleased with it, January 10, 2007

I am very pleased with this. It is well made, looks clean and is very functional. It was one of the only ones I could find with as many compartments in the space I had. My only compaint is how it fits into my drawer... it barely fit (more the drawer's fault) and the compartments are set, so I have to have the teaspoons (most used) in the top half (hardest to reach) and the tablespoons on the bottom. I'm hoping in my next apartment that the unit will fit the other direction so I can remedy this limitation. (I'm not sure if it's the unit or my drawer, but I could not get it to fit the other way around. It only just fits in my drawer, because I have a small/old drawer. The tray itself is great except it would be better if the compartments were somehow adjustable.

If I could give this item no stars that would be too many.

My brand new (on the same order no less) cutlery would not even fit in the slots. And even the one butter knife that I was able to place in there, got wedged underneath the cheaply constructed divider slats.

Stay away from this garbage. Better off just throwing your utencils in the empty drawer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than custom cabinets, December 13, 2008

I design kitchens for a living. This is better than most of the custom inserts that come with some of the best cabinets I sell. I have a smaller size drawer for my flatware and have tried several trays. This is the best tray I have found in this size. I have a larger set of flatware which needs more room and the "bin" style trays hold much more than the form fitted trays. Everyone who has opened that drawer is very impressed with this tray.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs., January 3, 2007

My old plastic cutlery tray wasted a lot of space, did not fit the drawer well, and the spoon slots were too narrow for my big and small spoons. This natural wood cutlery tray is a perfect fit for my drawer and everything fits much better. It makes me smile each time I open the drawer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Item, March 30, 2010

I just had my kitchen redone and I wanted to find a a tray organizer that would fit all of my silverware. This flatware tray is great. The bottom divider fits bigger spoons, forks, knives, and the top divider fits the smaller silverware which was perfect for me because I have both sizes. Everything fits plus some. The tray also fit perfectly in the drawer with enough room top to bottom that is not too tightly in there. Plus it looks nice and not cheap like my old plastic flatware divider. I really like it and would recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fits perfectly, nice quality, March 8, 2010

The drawer insert is strong and holds all of my silverware and some other utensils as well. You need to remember what you put in the back slots because you can't see them very well when you open the drawer(unless you move it all the way to the front). However, the shorter pieces-teaspoons, salad forks, soup spoons, fit very well there. My drawer is deep enough that there is some extra space in front of it to use some other frequently used utensils. A good purchase!

We bought new cabinetry and I needed something made of wood. This was the perfect fine for our flatware. It fits nice and looks good too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Piece, But..., October 3, 2009

This is a well-made and attractive piece. I regard it as a bit overpriced, but not too much. The main problem in using it is that the slots are not quite long enough for my forks, and the sometimes get stuck in the tray.
